Terms of service

BE is a training, nutrition and wellbeing app by Train-R, operated by Mason Bickers. These terms apply to the BE app and related Train-R website and account services. Contact info@train-r.com for questions or support. The service homepage is https://www.train-r.com/.

You must be at least 16 to use BE. Provide accurate account details, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Do not impersonate another person or use someone else’s connected-service account without their permission.

BE provides general fitness, training, nutrition and wellbeing information. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Plans, coaching responses and nutrition estimates, including AI-generated outputs, may contain errors and cannot account for every circumstance. Review them before acting, adapt activity to your ability, and seek appropriate professional advice for medical conditions, injury or dietary needs. Stop exercising if you feel unwell. BE does not guarantee performance, health or weight outcomes.

You choose whether to connect Google, Apple, Garmin, Strava or supported devices and whether to grant device permissions. Third-party services have their own terms, privacy practices and availability. Imports, estimates and synchronisation can be delayed or incomplete. You can disconnect integrations; previously imported records may remain until deleted. The privacy policy explains how BE processes your data.

You retain your rights in content you submit. You allow us and our service providers to process that content as necessary to operate the features you request, including storage, synchronisation and AI analysis. Submit only content you are entitled to use. Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with other users, distribute malicious code or use the service unlawfully.

Availability and features may change as BE develops, including during beta or TestFlight testing. Joining a waitlist does not guarantee access. Any paid offering must show its price, billing period and applicable cancellation terms before purchase; these terms do not themselves enrol you in a paid subscription. Purchases through an app store are also subject to its payment and refund rules. You retain any cancellation, refund or other rights provided by law.

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. No term excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory consumer rights, including rights relating to digital content and services, remain unaffected. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the accuracy of third-party data, but this does not remove our legal responsibilities.

You can stop using BE and request account deletion at info@train-r.com. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, serious misuse or a security risk. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give an opportunity to resolve the issue. We may retain records where needed for security, disputes or legal obligations as described in the privacy policy. Ending use does not automatically cancel a separately purchased app-store subscription.

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. We will update the date and provide notice of material changes where appropriate; changes do not retrospectively remove rights you already have. Contact us first to resolve a concern. Mandatory laws and consumer protections in your country continue to apply, including any right to bring a claim in your local courts.
